Currently, I offer two types of teaching and training through Cultivating the Kingdom: live webinars (including live Q&A sessions) and e-courses, delivered to your inbox.

Two different formats with different levels of live participation, but the same theological and biblical depth.

Mothering 3 young ladies in a culture devoted to normalizing brothel behavior is not for the faint of heart. Mercifully, God equips those whom he calls.

And this is what he's called me (and us) to: attaching their hearts to mine; building their respect for my authority and wisdom when the stakes are still low; giving them a much grander vision for femininity than the current Duessa versions shown on every screen and played on every radio station. Half-naked sirens is not our goal. Faithful young women who turn to wise older women with their questions is.

How does this transition happen -- from toddlers to tweens? What principles should govern growing into womanhood? These are just a couple of areas we will address in our Transitioning to Tweens live webinar.

FAQ's

What can I expect from a Cultivating the Kingdom course? +

Lord willing, the content of each course will be deeply rooted in the scriptures and theologically applicable to the lives of everyday wives and mothers (aka domestic theologians).

What makes courses and training from Cultivating the Kingdom unique? +

The perspective I bring to each of these courses bears no resemblance to the happy-clappy sentimentalism that abounds in American evangelicalism today, but (Lord willing) has much more in common with the path of our crucified savior. There is beauty rising from our brokenness, and there are sweet pleasures to be had in the good works God has called us to from before the foundations of the world.

Why the focus on theology in these classes? Isn't that unusual for courses for women? +

I believe with John Piper that weak theology makes weak women. I think that there is nothing more helpful than good theology and nothing more destructive than body theology.

Will taking these courses guarantee that my life will improve? +

(Short answer) No.

(Long answer)  I think Jesus calls us to a path of obedience that is neither easy nor short-lived -- but that our suffering is redemptive and that our life-long process of sanctification is safely in the hands of a loving and merciful Father.

What to expect in each e-course:

  • substantial content grounded in biblical theology (no therapeutic-moralism or checklist theology here)
  • practical application that gives life to your family culture
  • course content delivered straight to your inbox, so it's ready for the moment the baby goes down for a nap, the preschoolers are firmly ensconsed in the backyard, and/or the laundry pile beckons
  • lifetime access to video and audio content
  • 30-day money-back, no-questions-asked, guarantee
  • $20 fee per course
